Compatibility

This document describes current and planned compatibility for Spectranext — which ZX Spectrum models and expansion hardware are known to work, and what is still being brought up.

	Spectrum Next	Supported	NOTE: Current, spectranext ISSUE 3 (core 03.02.04) are not supported. See this issue. At this moment, +2 personality must be set, and upon boot, the following BASIC executed: OUT 9275,128 : OUT 9531,8
	OMNI 128HQ LAPTOP	Supported	Switch off UnoDOS/ExoDOS support and run at 3.5 MHz
	SiZif 512	Supported	Use 128K or 48K mode at 3.5 MHz. Remove the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, and switch off 3E. If you do not need DivMMC, switch off DivMMC and the SD card. To use DivMMC, enable Spectranext's DivMMC compatibility and install SPX on the card, following the DivMMC setup guide.
Cartridges	Spectranet	Supported	The cartridge replaces Spectranet (plug & play)
	ZX-HD	Supported	Use the pass-through connector (daisy chain)
	DivMMC	Supported with setup	Enable DivMMC compatibility on Spectranext before using the devices together, then install SPX on the DivMMC card. Follow the DivMMC setup guide, including its power-off instructions and revision B safety warnings.

Features	Bluetooth Keyboard	Considered	Typing into your Spectrum with an external Bluetooth keyboard should be possible
